Our club was organized in the summer of 2009 and our first 3-D Archery Shoot was held
on August 1, 2009 at Ross Park in southern Page County.
We started the 2010 season with a 40 target 3-D archery course consisting of deer, bears,
turkeys, and many other game animals, with shooting lanes ranging from 20 to 40 yards. There
is also a target range to sight in your bow and warm up.
Our first shoot of the new season was a big success, in spite of the rain on Saturday afternoon.
After our April shoot getting rained out, we couldn't have ordered nicer weather for the Memorial Day weekend shoot. And Karl's smoked pork was a huge hit with everyone! Check out the photos below.
We had a great turnout for our June shoot. A special welcome to all you new members that signed up during our special membership drive at this shoot. We look forward to having you join us for the new year starting July 1.
The Pop-Up Tournament at the Taylor County Fair was a lot of fun for all who competed, and we had another great turnout for the July shoot with perfect weather.
Our September shoot will be our appreciation shoot. We will be giving away door prizes and have raffles for some cool stuff. There will be a target auction for a few of our old tartgets that we can no longer use on the course.
This shoot will also be the first leg of the SW Iowa shoot out we will be joining Fogle 3d in this. Total scores from our Sept shoot and their October shoot will be combined the top three of each class will win some cool prizes!!!!
There are five classes of competition for each shoot:
>>----> Bowhunter
>>----> Traditional >>----> Women
>>----> Youth (ages 14 to 17) >>----> Cub (ages 13 and under)
Food and beverages are available on site during our shoots.
